Application

The product has been used in a variety of resins such as unsaturated polyester, polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyamide, polycarbonate, polystyrene, epoxy resins, polyethylene, polypropylene, natural rubber, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, and in halogenated insulating materials, outer parts of electronic products, wires and cables. Zinc borate has demonstrated synergistic effects along with halogen-containing flame retardants and smoke suppression, and then replace Sb2O3 completely or partly (50 - 80%) and toxic zinc chromate as rust-proof priming pigment. The product has also been applied as ceramic glaze and as wood antiseptic, and raw material for preparing zero-angle tires, preservatives of paints, bactericide in medicine, and household decorating articles especially used in humid environments.
